HARTFORD-a chunk of space rock was falling and hitting the roof of houses in the United States. This baseball ball-sized meteorite hitting the roof and causing damage to the roof and pipe home.
Reported by Universetoday, Wednesday (4/24/2013), a rock that crashed through a house in Connecticut, American surgeon States last weekend confirmed the meteorite. Homeowner Larry Beck contacted police in Wolcott, CT on April 20, 2010, at 10: 30 a. m local time.

A meteorite is a meteoroid (fireballs) which managed to land on Earth. These space objects into the Earth after penetrating the atmosphere and landed on the surface of the Earth. (fmh)
