The predicted Pencapain will continue to grow over the next few years. According to eMarketer, the total e-commerce sales could reach over USD430 billion by 2017. However, its growth rate will be lower around 2 percent.
As for the majority of retail e-commerce sales in the u.s. comes from computers and consumer electronic goods. In addition, clothes and accessories are also much sought after.
Although the number of sales looks high, but the reality of e-commerce accounted for only 6 per cent in retail sales in the past year.
