BOLOGNA - Ducati may choose not to retain Nicky Hayden in the MotoGP team next year, but the Italian manufacturer is still trying to keep the rider from the United States are in their family circle.

"We are trying to see if Nicky can stay with us in a different role, perhaps in MotoGP or Superbikes possible. We are working with him to try and keep him in the Ducati family," said Ducati MotoGP Project Director Paolo Ciabatti, as reported MotoGP website.
Ducati motorcycles sold in the United States more than any other country, while his own MotoGP calendar in which the U.S. has become thirsty as much as three times a year.
Hayden is one of the three MotoGP champion is still in the grip for the year 2013. Two other rider is Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo, in which both the Yamaha rider.
