Luxury house 900 Year-Old

LONDON - British archaeologists discovered the remains of the former establishment of the house building (mansion), aged 900 years ago. The findings of interest to researchers, where there are no records or documentation of the historic building.

"This is a significant discovery and therefore extremely interesting, especially since there is no documentation notes that the site has been here," said Bob Davis, buildings archaeologist who participated in the excavation, as reported by FoxNews, Friday (26/07/2013).

The diggers arrived and reportedly began work on April 8, 2013 at a site located in Longforth Farm, Wellington, Somerset. The region is an agricultural region in the southwest of England.

Archaeologists plan to excavate before the commencement of housing development by Bloor Homes. Previous excavation team has not learned that eventually discovered the remains of the former building luxury homes in the middle ages, which is approximately the 12th century until the 14th century.

"This sort of thing is revealed, a great medieval building, high status such as no historical record of life.'s Very mysterious and strange," said a senior historian Somerset Country Council, Steve Membery.

According to him, the site is extremely rare and not found in the historical record that the area had built a large house. All that remains on the site shows the location of the foundation stones and artifacts.

 
Researchers also found a glazed ceramic tile, floor tile and other decorations. This suggests that the building has a high status, which may be used for the center of religious activity.

"We do not know who owns the building or use. Excavation is underway, but it will expire next week," said Laura Joyner dai and community education officer for Wessex Archaeology.
