VIVAbola - Paris Saint-Germain will face Barcelona in the second leg Champions League quarter-finals, Wednesday, October 10, 2013 (Thursday morning GMT). PSG coach Carlo Ancelotti did not want to burden his team in the match at the Camp Nou this.
Les Parisiens could only draw 2-2 against Barca at the Parc des Princes midweek. This made many people wealthy clubs predicting it will be difficult to qualify for the semifinals.
"Nothing has changed even though we did not qualify for the semifinals.'s Future will remain fantastic if we win or lose. We will try to win the Champions League next season if you can not reach it this season," Ancelotti said as quoted by Soccerway.
"PSG happy to be here, because this will be a fantastic evening. Everybody knows if we have a small chance to qualify, but we still have a chance," said the Italian coach.
Ancelotti was satisfied with his team struggle against Barca in the first leg. According to the former Chelsea coach, PSG has proved capable of playing well against a fantastic team. He wants his team later had nothing to lose or nothing to lose.
"We need confidence when playing against one of the best teams in the world. We need confidence and character," said Ancelotti.
"We do not have to think about our mistakes. Thing to think about is how we play well in the first leg. So I'm not worried," said the 53 year.
